These incense burners are handcrafted in Santa María Atzompa, in the heart of Oaxaca by the Martinez family, and embody the ancient pottery traditions of the Zapotec culture.

Each piece is shaped from locally sourced clay, purified, and formed with age-old techniques before being fired in a traditional kiln. This process deepens the clay’s color to a striking black and enhances its natural sheen.
